The Fisherman's Assembly Articles of Faith

The mission of the Fisherman's Assembly is to preach and learn the word of God in a way that will draw others to Christ. Luke 4:10 Matthew 28:18-20.

1. We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God.

2. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of the Father.

3. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead to make us one with the Father.

4. We believe in the Holy Trinity of God. the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

5. We believe that baptism is an act of obedience, but it does not save us from sin.

6. We believe that Jesus came to make atonement for our sins by His death, burial and resurrection.

7. We believe that God and Satan are real.

8. We believe that Heaven and Hell is real.

9. We believe that those of us who sleep and those which are still alive will be caught up to be with Him at the sound of the trumpet on the last day.

10. We believe that we show our love for God by demonstrating love in our families, our homes and our communities.
